Listen In provides speech pathology, child and educational psychology, diagnostic assessments, and group therapy programs (including Ready to Start School and Social Skills groups) for children in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.
Assessments use evidence-based tools such as the Vanderbilt Scale as part of a broader behavioural and cognitive assessment process, alongside cognitive assessment scales (WPPSI, WISC, and WAIS) where relevant to the child's age and presentation.
No, no diagnosis or referral is necessary to access an ADHD assessment or any of our other services at Listen In.
Our neuropsychologist conducts diagnostic assessments for ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disorders (including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia), Nonverbal Learning Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.

Yes. Listen In accepts NDIS clients who are self-managed or plan-managed. We are no longer a registered NDIS provider, so we're unable to see clients managed directly through the NDIA.
Possibly, depending on the plan your GP sets up. Options include a Chronic Disease Management Plan (up to five rebated speech therapy sessions), a Mental Health Care Plan (six rebated psychology sessions, with up to four additional sessions after review), or a Helping Children with Autism Plan (four assessment sessions plus 20 therapy sessions).
Our clinic has a HiCaps machine for Medicare rebates and private health fund claims, as well as EFTPOS and credit card payment facilities.
