Our clinic provides HiCaps service for Medicare rebates and Private Health funds.

Listen In, which opened in 2009, services the Northern Metropolitan region of Melbourne and is located in Diamond Creek, near Greensborough. We also offer ADHD assessment Melbourne families can access without long wait times, alongside our broader range of allied health services.

ASSESSMENT INFORMATION

Psychology assessments are conducted by our very experienced Neuropsychologist Christine Ernest.

Diagnostic Assessments are available for:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Intellectual Disability (ID)
  • Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) - Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia
  • Nonverbal Learning Disorder (NVLD)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)

  • Cognitive Assessment (WPPSI under 6; WISC age 6-16; WAIS age 16+)

No, no diagnosis or referral is required to access services at Listen In.

What services does Listen In offer?

What does an ADHD assessment involve?

No, no diagnosis or referral is necessary to access an ADHD assessment or any of our other services at Listen In.

What conditions can be assessed at Listen In?

Our neuropsychologist conducts diagnostic assessments for ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disorders (including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia), Nonverbal Learning Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.

Where is Listen In located, and who do you service?

Listen In is located in Diamond Creek, near Greensborough, and has serviced Melbourne's Northern Metropolitan region since 2009.

Can I use NDIS funding for services?

Yes. Listen In accepts NDIS clients who are self-managed or plan-managed. We are no longer a registered NDIS provider, so we're unable to see clients managed directly through the NDIA.

Can I claim a Medicare rebate?

Possibly, depending on the plan your GP sets up. Options include a Chronic Disease Management Plan (up to five rebated speech therapy sessions), a Mental Health Care Plan (six rebated psychology sessions, with up to four additional sessions after review), or a Helping Children with Autism Plan (four assessment sessions plus 20 therapy sessions).

What payment methods do you accept?

Our clinic has a HiCaps machine for Medicare rebates and private health fund claims, as well as EFTPOS and credit card payment facilities.
